Five ways to build or manage a dividend income portfolio instead of guessing, scored on the same published rubric we use for every other category (real facts, current pricing, the same weighted criteria every time).

Run by CPA Brian Bollinger, this is more a research and tracking platform than a pick-of-the-month service: unlimited portfolio tracking, proprietary Dividend Safety Scores across nearly the whole dividend-paying market, and an income calendar. A better fit if you want tools to manage your own portfolio than someone else's picks to copy, but it's the most transparent, most established name in this category, a named, credentialed founder and one clear price.
Ben Reynolds runs a monthly newsletter built around a real "buy $1,000 a month" model portfolio publicly tracked since 2019, backed by a published, replicable methodology ("8 Rules of Dividend Investing"), plus sister newsletters for high-yield and dividend-growth picks. The one knock: the price quoted across different sources isn't fully consistent, so confirm the current rate before signing up, and it doesn't cover ETFs.
Mike Heroux, also known for The Dividend Guy Blog podcast, tracks 9 model portfolios with trade alerts and rates more than 425 individual stocks. The US-plus-Canada coverage is rarer among the services on this site. Pricing is transparent and tiered right on the site, and it's explicit that it doesn't manage money or give personalized advice.
A five-person team, Brad Thomas, Chuck Carnevale (creator of the FAST Graphs valuation tool), Adam Galas, Justin Law, and Nicholas Ward, covers dividend-growth and value investing through a monthly newsletter, a Dividend Champions list, and a community feed. The credentials here are real and well known in dividend-investing circles, but the service is billed entirely through Seeking Alpha's Marketplace, whose checkout blocks outside access, so we couldn't independently confirm current pricing before you're in the checkout flow.
Focused on under-the-radar high-yield stocks, preferred shares, and baby bonds, also delivered through Seeking Alpha's Marketplace. It scores lowest here for the same reason it carries our lowest transparency mark: it's run under the pseudonym "Double Dividend Stocks," and the author's real identity isn't disclosed. That matters more on a site built around knowing who's actually giving you advice, and like Dividend Kings, pricing isn't independently checkable before checkout.
